As we begin the new school year, several important system updates and syncs are underway. Below is a summary of key dates and what to expect regarding access to core systems such as Synergy, Canvas, and Clever.
If you notice limited or incorrect access after August 11, please first connect with your building scheduling staff to confirm that your class assignments and schedule are accurate. If everything appears correct in Synergy, and access issues remain, please submit a Technology Support Request (TSR) for further assistance.
System Update Timeline
- August 1: Sync pauses for Canvas and Clever
- August 3: Annual Synergy Roll-Up
- August 5: Sync reenabled for Canvas and Clever
- August 6: BEA and PSE contracts for 2025–26 rolled up (Classified & Certificated staff)
- August 7–8: System syncing and integration updates in progress:
- Synergy user groups
- Active Directory (AD) updates
- Synergy user groups
Staff Access
- August 11: Full access to all systems is expected for returning staff in active positions.
Important Exceptions
Access may be delayed for staff in the following scenarios:
- New to the district
- New to a building
- New position (including job changes)
- Changes to assigned classes or sections
- Contracts that are still in process, pending updates, or awaiting approval in HR systems
